"Marina Abramović" Exhibition
Oct. 04 – Nov. 08, 2011
Trois Gallery | SCAD Atlanta, 1600 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, Ga.
The Marina Abramović exhibition features three videos and an iconic series of photos that span the time from her first performance to her most recent works. This intimate exhibition chronicles the evolution of her performances: from her extremely physical early work to her more recent work exploring immateriality and the spiritual. Together the works showcase Abramović's role as a pioneer in the use of performance as a visual art form.
Reception: Oct. 20, 6-7:30 p.m.
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
