SCAD presents "The Green Age Zeitgeist: Shifting Manufacturing and Material Technology to the Furniture Industry - Biocomposites," a thesis exhibition by M.F.A furniture design student Joseph Ryan Osborne. "The Green Age Zeitgeist" refers to the current spirit of the expanding sustainable initiative for all products and the materials used to make them "green." This thesis exhibition seeks to educate the observer about composite materials and the emerging bio-based alternatives that will impact a range of products and the processes by which they are made.
