Jonathan Yoerger Exhibition: "ALLEZ ALLEZ"

Jul. 02 – Aug. 26, 2011

Blue Gallery | Rue Saint-Trophime, Lacoste, FR

SCAD presents "ALLEZ ALLEZ," a solo exhibition featuring painting, animation and installation by M.F.A. painting student Jonathan Yoerger. A sequel to his recent M.F.A. thesis exhibition "Twist & Go," Yoerger's new series of paintings and appropriated installation artifacts and ephemera are inspired by French film, media, sports and pop and consumer cultures. Encouraging the viewer to step outside of socially prescribed narratives, Yoerger's work establishes a mission of giving the object precedence over the narrative. This event is free and open to the public.

Reception: Saturday, July 2, 6-8 p.m.

Gallery hours:
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturdays, noon to 5 p.m.

This exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
