A'Design Award and Competition
The A'Design Award and Competition is for designers, innovators and companies that want to highlight themselves to attract the focus of media, publishers and buyers. In a world where there are millions of products and designs launched each year, the award was born out of the desire to underline the best designs and well designed products. The award-winning products and designs are highlighted to the international public in the A' Design Museum and Gallery in Italy and they are communicated to all relevant press across the world.

Home Fashion Products Association's 2012 Scholarship Awards Program/Home Textile Surface Design
HFPA is offering $1,000 scholarships to be awarded during the spring semester. $500 scholarships may also be awarded. HFPA is a national organization dedicated to advancing the common interests of the home fashion products industry through a variety of programs and activities. Students must be a second year/upper division student enrolled in a textile surface design course of study. Students enrolled in apparel textile design or interior design are not eligible for this award. Students must submit the following: 1. A completed copy of the official application form. 2. Answers to the HFPA essay questions on attached sheet. Essays must be dated and signed. 3. Recommendation from the department head on school letterhead. 4. A portfolio of work samples (pictures or disks only. Please do not send actual work samples.

ACP Photo Festival Public Art Project
Since 1998, Atlanta Celebrates Photography has supported Atlanta's emergence as an international center for photography. Through an annual October festival and year-round programs, ACP seeks to nurture and support photographers, educate and engage audiences, promote diverse photography venues, and enrich Atlanta's cultural scene. The acclaimed ACP Public Art program, an integral component of the annual ACP festival, has featured temporary projects in a variety of diverse locations throughout Atlanta. It is significant in its ability to reach beyond the audience of traditional art venues and for its ability to expand the way its audience considers and perceives photography and "lens-based" media. 2012 Atlanta Corporate Challenge T-shirt Design Contest
Local artists and graphic designers are invited to submit t-shirt designs for the 2012 Atlanta Corporate Challenge T-shirt Design Contest. Those interested have until Feb. 1, 2012 to submit their designs. The top five T-shirt designs will be featured on the
Atlanta Corporate Challenge website on Feb. 15. The general public will have until Feb. 30 to vote for their favorite T-shirt design, and the winning design will be revealed on April 27 at the Executive Reception and featured on the ACC website. The winning artist will receive $1,100 and be honored at the Atlanta Corporate Challenge Executive Reception and Opening Ceremony, and each of the four runner-ups will receive $100 for their efforts.
