12/4/2006

The Savannah College of Art and Design presents "Small Works," an annual exhibition for the holiday season featuring work by SCAD artists, Dec. 4–31 at shopSCAD, 3096 Roswell Road in the Buckhead design district. The Atlanta exhibition is free and open to the public.

"Small Works" features unique art priced at $500 or less and measuring up to18 inches in each direction. The pieces highlight a wide range of media including photography, jewelry, painting, sculpture, collage and fiber. SCAD students, faculty, alumni and staff created all of the products for sale.

The first "Small Works" exhibition debuted in Savannah in 1979, and the show quickly became a college tradition heralding the holiday season.

ShopSCAD in Atlanta is open Monday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. and can be reached at 404.816.0247. ShopSCAD also is available at www.shopscadonline.com.
