SCAD Hosts Holiday Gallery Hop in Savannah Dec. 1

12/1/2006 The Savannah College of Art and Design holds its monthly gallery hop Dec. 1, 5–7 p.m. in Savannah, Ga. Featured stops on the holiday-themed event are "Small Works" at Red Gallery, 210 E. Broughton St.; "Arrangements" by Don Kurka at Pei Ling Chan Gallery and Garden for the Arts, 322 and 324 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.; and "Savannah Clay" at Pinnacle Gallery, 320 E. Liberty St. "Small Works" presents an assortment of small-scale, holiday-themed art by members of the SCAD community. Work is for sale, and prices are capped at $500. Kurka's photography exhibition spotlights arrangements of objects, both natural and human-made, from around the world. "Arrangements" also will be featured on the Southern Lights gallery hop Dec. 16, 5-7 p.m. Shuttles run between galleries, and refreshments are served. The gallery hop is free and open to the public.
