SCAD Features Unique, Affordable Art at "Small Works" Exhibition in Savannah - Nov. 18-Dec. 30

Small Works Exhibition, Robin Miller, Epitaph, 2006The Savannah College of Art and Design presents "Small Works," an annual exhibition for the holiday season featuring work by SCAD artists, Nov. 18–Dec. 30 at Red Gallery, 201 E. Broughton St., Savannah, Ga. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

"Small Works" features unique art priced at $500 or less and measuring up to18 inches in each direction. The pieces highlight a wide range of media including photography, jewelry, painting, sculpture, collage and fiber. SCAD students, faculty, alumni and staff created all of the products on display.

The first "Small Works" exhibition debuted in Savannah in 1979, and the show quickly became a college tradition heralding the holiday season.

A contemporary retail space, Red Gallery features the work of prominent artists alongside that of emerging SCAD alumni, students, faculty and staff. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1–4 p.m. For more information, call 912.525.4735.
