11/3/2004  SAVANNAH, GA. — Alain LeQuernec is a French designer and teacher known for his dramatic and witty public information campaigns and social issues posters. He was trained under famed Polish poster designer Henryk Tomaszewski in the early 1970s and has won almost every top award granted by international poster competitions. LeQuernec’s work exhibits versatility in the media he uses, including photography, illustration, montage, collage and typographic exploration.
