3/28/2006 ATLANTA — "Icarus," a multimedia group exhibition featuring Savannah College of Art and Design students, faculty and alumni, will be held March 28–April 29 at Savannah Gallery, 3096 Roswell Road. A private reception will be held March 30, 6–9 p.m. "Icarus" focuses on bird imagery in artwork, a recurring theme throughout history that symbolically and metaphorically explores flight, ascent and descent. The mythological story of Icarus is an example of man's fascination with flight, and the psychology of success and failure.
