Liberty St., through April 4. A reception for the exhibition will be held March 31, 5–7 p.m., with readings at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. “The Swinging Bridge” is a traveling literary exhibition comprised of painting, sculpture, short stories and poetry. Slagle and Tinney blend their media, using both words and art to react to their surroundings. Through their work, Slagle and Tinney hold a live conversation with each other and the audience, transforming an empty gallery into a three-dimensional, functioning theater consisting of spoken word, music and a carnival atmosphere. Audience members enjoy a feeling of involvement in the work.
