From I-85 Southbound
- Take exit 86 (Route 13, Peachtree Street N.E.).
- Stay on this exit/access road for about three miles; stay in the left lane. Do not take any exits as you pass them.
- Follow signs for Spring Street/Peachtree Street. Stay in the left lane and take the Peachtree Street exit.
- At the second traffic light, take a left onto Peachtree Street N.E.
- SCAD-Atlanta will be on your left next to Peachtree Christian Church.
- Take exit 252 (Northside Drive/Howell Mill).
- Stay on the Northside Drive lane to your left. Turn right onto Northside Drive.
- At the second light, turn left onto Deering Road.
- This is a residential road; follow it until it dead-ends into Peachtree Street N.E. The Amtrak train station will be on the right.
- Turn right on Peachtree Street N.E., and SCAD-Atlanta will be on the right.
- Take exit 250 (10th Street/14th Street/Georgia Tech).
- Stay straight onto Williams Street. At the second traffic light (14th Street) turn right.
- Take a left onto West Peachtree.
- Follow until you hit Peachtree Street N.E. and take a left at the traffic light.
- SCAD-Atlanta will be on your left.
- Take the I-85/I-75 North Connector and follow the directions for "From I-85 and I-75 Northbound" above.
- Take exit 1 (Sydney Marcus Boulevard). Exit 1 is the second exit after the tollbooth.
- Go left onto Sydney Marcus Boulevard at the light and then onto Buford Highway (Route 13 - access road).
- Turn right and follow the directions for "From I-85 Southbound" above.

Free parking is available in the SCAD-Atlanta parking deck at the rear of the main building.
To and from the Airport
Shuttle
The Atlanta Link is the sole shuttle operator at the airport that serves downtown, midtown and Buckhead. From baggage claim, follow the signs outside to ground transportation and hotel shuttles. Tickets can be purchased through the kiosks in baggage claim, the dispatcher on the curb or the driver. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Costs are downtown $16 (one way)/$28 (roundtrip), midtown $18/$32 and Buckhead $20/$36.
The shuttle runs to and from the hotels twice an hour, from 6 a.m.–midnight. For more information, call 404.524.3400.
Taxi
From baggage claim, follow the signs to taxis.
Always be prepared with directions and correct change or a credit card to charge your fare. Taxi fares start at $1.60 for the first mile and $.20 for each additional 1/7 mile, $.50 per extra passenger and $12 per hour waiting time. Each additional person is charged another $1. Within the Downtown Convention Zone, flat rates of $5 for one person and $1 for each additional passenger are charged for any destination.

MARTA
MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) is the most cost-effective way to travel in Atlanta. A variety of fares and passes are available. The rail system follows the north-south and east-west coordinates of the city, with buses providing more local connections.
MARTA operates Monday–Friday, approximately 5 a.m.–1 a.m., and weekends and holidays, 5 a.m.–12:30 a.m. Trains arrive at and depart from rail stations every eight-10 minutes on weekdays and every 10-15 minutes on weekends. The MARTA Web site includes more information on train routes and schedules.
MARTA connects to the terminal building at the airport. From baggage claim, follow the signs to MARTA. Passes may be purchased with cash or credit card online or at the station at the airport. Individual tokens are available for cash at special machines.
The cost of a one-way trip is $1.75, and extended-stay visitor passes are also available. At an average cost of about $10, the Visitor's Pass entitles the bearer to unlimited systemwide travel. Travel for SCAD Students in Savannah
Travel arrangements have been made for students traveling from Savannah to the conference.
Buses will depart Thursday, April 10, at 11 a.m., from Montgomery Hall. For students who only want to attend Friday's events, a bus will depart from Montgomery Hall Friday, April 11, at 4 a.m.
Buses will depart from SCAD-Atlanta for travel back to Savannah Friday, April 11, at 5:45 p.m.
