"Luminaries" is an exhibition of exceptional work created spring quarter 2013 by SCAD graduate students enrolled in Historic Photographic Processes, taught by photography professor V. Elizabeth Turk.

"Luminaries" features more than 50 inventive and expressive photographs created using such experimental and historic techniques as cyanotypes, gum printing and lumen prints, and often combining these with digital photographic techniques in order to expand the possibilities of contemporary photography.

This exhibition is curated in conjunction with "Manipulated" in Gallery See at SCAD Atlanta.

Featuring Emma Dobbs, Alicia Collins, Balsa Gobovic, Alexander Hadjidakis, Ryan Ketchum, Nicole LeCorgne, Cammi Lusk, Oktawian Otlewski and Cassidy Russell.

Reception: Thursday, Oct. 3, 6-8 p.m.

Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday, 1-6 p.m.

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
