Pursuing a minor in technical direction prepares students for success as technical directors or general 3-D artists. Technical direction minor coursework focuses on creation of film, animation and game-effects artwork through a blend of artistic and technical skills. Coursework also covers digital lighting and rendering, digital materials, and programming. Several TECH minor classes overlap with required classes in other School of Digital Media majors, and can count toward both.

The event is free and open to SCAD ID holders.
