The School of Building Arts Lecture Series presents Katherine Wheeler, assistant professor of architecture at the University of Miami. Wheeler’s lecture, “Drawing and the Victorian Architect as ‘Masterful Dictator’” will explore the increased importance of architectural drawing in 19th-century Britain and how it divided the architectural profession, threatened the role of the craftsman and impacted architectural education.

The event is free and open to the public.
