Fashion Trends: Forecasting and Design two-day workshop
1600 Peachtree St.
In this two-day workshop taught by Fran Goch, participants experience the full creative process of fashion design, from inspiration to final product. Students research fashion trends in order to understand the connection between final collections presented by designers and the insight and thought process that were the catalysts. Participants track current movements in diverse areas: cultural realms, technology, politics, business, etc., then create directional mood board collages and design must-have clothing items based on their findings, and present unique fashion sketches. Most supplies are included. Students have a 30-minute lunch break. This two-day workshop is held on Saturday, April 27 and May 4. Course costs $140.
