Catch the best of student short films at Gray's Reef festival

Catch screenings of SCAD student shorts at this year's Gray's Reef Ocean Film Festival. In addition to the array of student-produced, conservation-inspired films, National Geographic filmmaker Greg Marshall will present his film, "A Penguin's Life," at 7:20 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13, and will lead a Q-and-A session after the film.
The award-winning film "Chasing Ice," which documents a photographer's year-long capture of changing glaciers in the Arctic, will be screened at 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.
