Award-winning photographer Benjamin Lowy shares his artistic perspective and experience gained during a career covering global conflicts during this artist talk. Based in New York City, Lowy’s work covering humanitarian and military crises in Iraq, Darfur, Afghanistan and Libya has received international recognition and is on display at the Tate Modern, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Houston Center for Photography. He is represented by Reportage by Getty Images.

This presentation is held in conjunction with "Silver & Ink," SCAD's premier juried photography exhibition and publication, showcasing the best student work. Held annually and in its seventh year, this exhibition celebrates all aspects of commercial and fine art photography created at SCAD.
