Donald Norman, design thought leader and cofounder, Nielsen Norman Group

Named as one of Business Week’s top 27 most influential designers in the world, Don Norman is a legend in the design industry. In his SCADstyle lecture, “Why Rice Cookers are Exciting,” Norman will fuse cognitive science, business acumen, engineering, and design to discuss how the most powerful revolutions are the slow, silent ones that go virtually unnoticed. Norman is the cofounder of Nielsen Norman Group, an executive consulting firm that develops products aiming to satisfy human and societal needs by combining an innate understanding of social sciences and good design. He is the author of the best-selling book, “The Design of Everyday Things.”

All SCADstyle programs are free and open to the public.
