Stefan Sagmeister, graphic designer, typographer, and founder of Sagmeister & Walsh

Known for disrupting visual norms, Stefan Sagmeister discusses his less than conventional notions of graphic design, typography, and film. Among many notable awards and recognitions, Sagmeister has garnered the National Design Award for Communications, the AIGA Medal, and two Grammys for his Talking Heads and Brian Eno & David Byrne package designs. His latest project, “The Happy Film,” is a documentary in which Sagmeister conducts a series of self-experiments to test his happiness.  Following his talk, there will be a book signing for Sagmeister’s recently republished and much-lauded book, “Things I’ve Learned in My Life So Far” (Abrams, 2014).

All SCADstyle events are free and open to the public.
