Jason Middlebrook

Jason Middlebrook (b. 1966, Jackson, Michigan) is a mixed-media contemporary artist who explores the complicated relationship between humans and nature in his sculptures, installations, site-specific projects, paintings and large-scale drawings. He lives and works in Hudson, New York.

Middlebrook earned a B.F.A. from the University of California Santa Cruz and an M.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute in California. He participated in the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York.
