The exhibitions department presents "LIFELIKE," an exhibition by Will Penny, SCAD M.F.A. painting student and alumnus (B.F.A., painting, 2008). Penny explores the tensions between illusionistic and tangible spaces in painting. He examines this affect on painting by investigating the negotiations between illusion, opticality, real space and virtual space that are mediated by shifting digital platforms.

Presented as part of the 2013 deFINE ART program

Reception: Friday, Feb. 22, 5:30-7 p.m.

Gallery hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
