Simpson was a contributing editor to Architectural Digest for three decades, and in his tenure at the magazine he penned more than 200 stories about interiors. He is also a historian and author, and has written books on the histories of subjects ranging from architecture, interior design to his own family's story. His latest book, "Rose Cumming: Design Inspiration," vividly tells the story of the woman credited with creating the interior design profession. This event is free and open to the public.
