Jason Hackenwerth exhibition: "Mótus"
Tuesday, Feb. 19-Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013
322 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
In "Mótus," SCAD alumnus Jason Hackenwerth (M.F.A., painting, 2011) creates billowing caves of ultra lightweight plastic that resonate with a fog-like glow and illuminate as they cycle through various states of expansion and collapse. These ethereal forms expose diverse atmospheres of light and movement pointing beyond the physical realm and into timeless and eternal spaces.
