Language courses

The SCAD Language Studio provides English language instruction appropriate to varied student needs, levels and proficiencies. Upon successful completion of the SLS curriculum, international students at the undergraduate or graduate levels will read university-level materials, write academic papers and exams, speak fluently in both formal and informal settings and comprehend academic lectures. SLS students will function confidently in a North American career-oriented cultureĀ  and establish productive relations with peers, professors and future employers.

Completion of ESL courses lengthens the time degree-seeking students must commit to completing courses of study and increases overall student cost. For more information on tuition and fees, visit the financial services Web page.
