Grad fairs are typically free and open to the public.
Students and parents are invited to attend a one hour presentation to learn about SCAD's nationally recognized academic programs, art and design career options, admission and portfolio overview, scholarship opportunities, and Q-and-A with admission representatives. Students may also have the opportunity to meet with SCAD faculty and alumni at select sessions. Portfolio counseling is available for undergraduate students by appointment.
Companies in specific industries showcase their products and services, allowing students and professionals to learn about career opportunities and examine recent market trends. Registration with the tradeshow is typically required.
SCAD is a participating university in the 2011 National Unified Auditions taking place February 5th - 13th in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. High school seniors have the opportunity to present a four-minute audition to enhance their application file and to be considered for a scholarship. Students intending to major in performing arts are required to audition prior to declaring the major and are encouraged to audition at time of application for admission to SCAD.
