As the University for Creative Careers, SCAD is dedicated to helping students and alumni succeed in their chosen fields. The office of career services helps you find internships, provides you with job-search assistance, and offers extensive resources to match you with your dream job.
If you want individualized guidance about course selection or help with résumés, portfolios, interviews and other job-search strategies, career advisers will assist you. Career services also offer workshops and classes about entrepreneurship, branding, salary negotiation, socially responsible careers and more.
Early registration for employers to participate at the Career Fair 2010 is now available.
Last year, more than 175 companies and organizations visited SCAD to meet and recruit our students and alumni. These companies conducted job interviews, reviewed portfolios, delivered presentations and participated in faculty/student networking events.
Major art and design corporate recruiters share information about their companies, review portfolios and interview students for full-time professional positions and internships.

In 2009, more than 1,300 SCAD students and alumni attended the annual SCAD Career Fair, where more than 60 employers interviewed students, viewed portfolios and discussed career opportunities at their companies. Nearly 60 percent of participating companies reported that they planned to offer jobs or internships to SCAD candidates as a result of the fair.

Jobs and Internships
SCAD's online job portal lists hundreds of jobs and internships and is updated weekly. Last year, more than 3,000 jobs were posted, and potential employers viewed nearly 5,000 SCAD student and alumni résumés during spring quarter alone. Access to the site is exclusive and free to SCAD students and alumni.
