The person in this role will provide vision and leadership to the department, developing strategies and establishing a highly respected program of job, internship and career opportunities for students and alumni. The executive director will establish, develop and implement unique, innovative and visionary programs to serve both current students and SCAD graduates, by closely collaborating with students, alumni and other college constituencies, and by utilizing SCAD's internal and external resources. The executive director will outreach to all profit and non-profit employment areas of key interest to students and alumni and will work to elevate the reputation and quality of all career development and job placement activities. The executive director will work to find and secure meaningful professional opportunities for SCAD students and alumni. Master's degree and experience working with diverse population are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of the art and design job market, understanding of current technologies, demonstrated management and leadership skills are also required.

The General Counsel will provide legal advice to the College Board of Trustees, the president and administrative officers on a variety of legal matters involving or affecting the university, including corporate, regulatory and related issues. Duties include analysis of laws and regulations; draft, review, and approve policies, procedures, regulations, bylaws and other legal documents; review, draft and approve documents including contracts, prospectuses, agreements, leases, licenses, purchases and others; represent and/or oversee the representation of the university and its officials in complex litigation; negotiate settlements involving complex legal issues or transactions on behalf of the university; manage claims, lawsuits and other administrative matters of a legal nature and provide advice regarding resolution; and supervise, coordinate and direct work of outside counsel. Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from an ABA accredited college or university required with seven to ten years of related experience serving clients in higher education and/or corporate settings. Current licensure from the State of Georgia required with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated management and leadership skills.

The person in this position will audit financial reports and continually refine internal auditing procedures. The job requires a bachelor's in accounting or related field and three to five years job related experience or any equivalent combination is required. A master's degree is preferred. The successful candidate will communicate clearly with the SCAD Board of Trustees and the president; communicate clearly with all departments regarding financial related forms and procedures; establish and maintain a positive and effective working relationship with all departments; and maintain confidentiality at all times. He or she must be able to think strategically and proactively to enhance internal control; communicate clearly both in writing and verbally; and prepare concise and clear summaries and reports.

The person in this position will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for information technology for the university, overseeing the execution of that strategy and managing the day to day operations of the Information Management and Technology (IMT) organization. The new CIO will draw upon his / her experience in information technology in the academic environment, knowledge of trends in university computing and general industry trends to define an operating technology model for instructional, student and administrative computing. The IMT organization supports computing in 4 locations: Savannah and Atlanta, GA; Lacoste, France; and Hong Kong; plus remote learners around the globe.

The systems and electronic resources librarian will be responsible for managing and coordinating the technology needs of all SCAD Libraries, including maintenance of the Millennium ILS, electronic resources, and library website, and leads projects and training efforts in these areas. This position will work collaboratively and creatively with all staff, library patrons and several other SCAD constituencies. SCAD Libraries is comprised of four geographic locations as well as an extensive digital presence, contributing to every aspect of academic and intellectual life at SCAD by providing a broad range of services to students, faculty and staff. As a whole, SCAD Libraries' collection provide access to more than 200,000 books, 900 current print serials, a wide variety of special collections items, 12,000 full-text e-journals, 30,000 e-books and more than one million digital images. ALA-accredited M.L.S. degree and three to five years experience in overseeing, maintaining, managing and troubleshooting an integrated library system as well as a thorough knowledge of existing and emerging library technologies.

The major gifts officer will serve as a catalyst in driving revenue generation of major gifts of $25,000+ with an emphasis on five and six figure gifts to enhance ongoing revenue growth with strategic focus on retaining and upgrading donors, while building a robust pipeline of prospects tied to annual measurement of goals. A bachelor's degree and excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills are required. Fund raising experience is preferred.

SCAD seeks a Web developer for the interactive services department. The developer will be responsible for supporting the public SCAD website through daily website production and the creation of dynamic Web applications. The successful candidate will possess strong technical, communication and project management skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Background should include several Web-based projects and working with dynamic websites, as well as familiarity with ADA compliance, W3C standards and accessibility. A bachelor's degree and proficiency in HTML, CSS, XML, MySQL and Ajax is required. Experience with Drupal, Word Press and using social media APIs is desired.

SCAD seeks a front end Web developer to assist with the layout of HTML forms and interfaces, maintain the style guide, perform graphic and text updates as needed, optimize website navigation for the scad.edu site, and review completed projects to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant style guidelines. Successful candidates should excel in all components of the Web development skill set and have a strong understanding of HTML, XHTML, CSS, jQuery, SEO, JavaScript, AS3, IA, UX and UI. Those candidates with a familiarity of PHP and Drupal will be preferred. A bachelor's degree is required.

SCAD eLearning combines an award-winning reputation with respected degrees. The instructional designer works with a team of talented and dedicated faculty and staff to ensure that a high standard of instructional design is maintained throughout the life of each online learning development project. Successful candidates will be able to employ industry standard instruction design principles in the design of training supplies for online delivery, design effective performance management and evaluation strategies, manage projects to successful completion on time and on budget, and interface effectively with a variety of academic constituencies. A graduate degree is required, preferably in instructional design or comparable discipline.

This registrar contributes to the academic and institutional integrity of the university through policy management and coordination of academic support services programs, including registration and advising of students. The registrar provides oversight and is responsible for ensuring appropriate registrar office policy, efficient registration processes, record retention, high quality and effective student advisement services, and faculty advisement training. This individual reports to the associate vice president for academic support and works closely with the dean of undergraduate studies, while supervising two assistant registrars. Master's degree in higher education or related field preferred. Excellent computer skills are a must; experience working with administrative software such as BANNER is a plus.

The person in this position is responsible for generating interest in SCAD and will serve as an articulate spokesperson for the university. The admission representative will accomplish this by planning, conducting and evaluating travel within an assigned territory; making presentations to diverse audiences; personal follow-up with prospective students through email, phone and face to face meetings; and developing relationships with teachers, counselors, alumni and professionals. Qualified applicants must have strong administrative skills; excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work well independently and in a team; be flexible and committed to performing at the highest possible level; and be able to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. Position includes extensive travel, weekend and evening work. Bachelor's degree or higher required, as well as computer and research skills. Must have valid driver's license.

The person in this position will serve as an articulate spokesperson for the university and provide applicants with all necessary materials and information needed to complete the admission process. Specific administrative duties include timely completion of applicant files, generating all personal written and verbal communication with applicants, conducting applicant personal interviews, and coordinating other outreach efforts. Qualified applicants must possess a bachelor's degree, attentiveness to detail, initiative, strong organizational skills, excellent presentation skills, strong writing skills and the ability to work independently. Limited travel possible but not mandatory.
