Tours are offered twice daily (excluding Sunday) at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Bus tours, which visit residence halls and other facilities, are available Monday and Friday at both tour times. Saturday tours are of the main academic building only.

Before scheduling a tour

• Plan to visit while classes are in session. Check the academic calendar for dates.
• Call two weeks in advance to request a class visit and/or lunch with a student.
• Call three weeks in advance to request a 15-minute portfolio counseling appointment.
  
• Contact the admission office ahead of time if you have special needs or accommodation requests.

The day of the  tour

• Arrive at least 15 minutes early to secure parking and assist with check in.
• Wear comfortable shoes.
  
• Be prepared to depart promptly at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. from the Admission Welcome Center in Gallery 1600, 1600 Peachtree St., Atlanta.
  

After the tour

• Admission representatives are available (excluding Saturday) to answer questions, give assistance in completing application forms and provide information bout scholarships and financial aid.
• The SCAD-Atlanta Book Store, Shop SCAD, ACA Library of SCAD, ACA Gallery, and the Hub (SCAD-Atlanta Dining facility) are open to the public.

Group Tours

SCAD offers tours to groups of up to 25 high school juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a career in the arts. Available on most Fridays throughout the academic year, SCAD tours offer a variety of sights, events and important admission information to accommodate your group’s needs.
