Arts Administration

Arts administrators combine business skills with the tools of community building and a passion for the arts to design, manage and lead arts and cultural organizations.

There are more than 325,000 museums, galleries and performing arts organizations in the United States employing more than 1.3 million people. These organizations seek arts administrators who are qualified to provide vision and leadership. At SCAD, arts administration students follow a curriculum that combines relevant, contemporary theory with hands-on experiences to thoroughly prepare the next generation of arts leaders.
