The SCAD architecture program offers a B.F.A. and a NAAB-accredited M.Arch. to prepare students for professional practice.
SCAD is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, a rating system for the design and construction of sustainable buildings.
SCAD architecture students benefit from collaboration with students of architectural history, furniture design, historic preservation and interior design.
DesignIntelligence ranked the SCAD undergraduate and graduate interior design programs No. 1 in the U.S. for 2012.

Gensler in Atlanta hires Alex Steele

Alex Steele (M.Arch, 2011) accepted a position as architectural designer at Gensler in Atlanta, Georgia.
Erin Rahn receives Henry Adams Medal

Erin Rahn (M.Arch. 2010) was awarded the American Institute of Architects Henry Adams Medal for her outstanding thesis achievement. The project was designed to revitalize a community in Effingham County, Georgia, through the development of a park and recreational area. Rahn continues to guide the project toward implementation as an employee of the Effingham Industrial Development Authority. Learn more.
Susan Dyer appointed to Planning Organiztion

Susan Dyer (B.F.A., architecture, 2005; M.Arch, 2006) has been appointed to a two-year term with the Coastal Region Metropolitan Planning Organization in Savannah, Georgia. Dyer is employed as the arts program specialist with the City of Savannah.
