Architecture students Matt Kohne and Anthony Cissell won first place at Creative Coast's TechFest 2008 for their conceptual design of a hypothetical Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation headquarters building at Trustees Garden. This project was created for one of professor Judith Reno's classes.

The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards awarded SCAD a 2008 NCARB Prize for the Building Systems Integration and Performance Studio, BSI+P, established and led by Emad Afifi, Ph.D., professor of architecture and interim dean of the School of Building Arts.

  • NAAB-accredited professional M.Arch.
  • Postprofessional M.Arch. with an emphasis in urban design or electronic design
Architects focus on creating the built environment by synthesizing issues of human need, environmental setting, building technology, visual perception and aesthetic theory.
