Bennett has led successful projects for a number of high-profile clients including Community Coffee Company, Champion Boats and Sqwincher Work Drinks. Bennett's work has been published in several books on corporate identity and design. He holds membership in the American Advertising Federation and has been invited to lecture at Louisiana State University and the Savannah College of Art and Design on multiple occasions. She wrote, "I have been with the Museum of Fine Arts for the last five years working as a staff photographer. Jay is a freelance commercial photographer for some biomedical industries in the area. Jill Bogdanowicz-Wilson (B.F.A., interior design and historic preservation, 1997) is an interior designer with Ann Beha Associates, a firm that specializes in historic preservation projects but also tackles renovation, additions and new construction.  Bogdanowicz-Wilson is responsible for furniture layouts, selection of fabrics and finishes, presentation boards, drafting and space planning. Patrick "Pat" Bollin ( B.F.A., sequential art, 1997) wrote, "Since graduating in '97 I've done a variety of art for my supper. I actually served a tour in Uncle Sam's Navy as a Naval Illustrator-Draftsman, and even joined the ranks of the world's second oldest profession, live caricature art. I've enjoyed it all. Forrest's design, called "Freedom Link," allows wheelchair-bound individuals to get into off-road cycling.

Marialexandra Garcia (B.F.A., fashion, 1997) lives in Miami, Fla., and is owner and head designer of Christav LLC dba Marialexandra, a high-end eveningwear and bridalwear manufacturer that sells to major department stores and boutiques nationwide. Garcia participated in Funkshion, Fashion Week Miami Beach in March 2006 where she was awarded Best Emerging Designer 2006 by Perrier. She was invited to participate in the Harper's Bazaar relaunching party and fashion show October 2005 among Valentino, Carolina Herrera, Armani and others. She dressed celebrities for the red carpet at Premio Lo Nuestro in February 2006. She also dressed Ivanka Trump for an event in New York, N.Y., June 2006.

Mitchell Harper (B.F.A., computer art, 1997) lives in Charlotte, N.C., and is director of Web design for AEBN, a streaming video company.

Sandra (Harris) Eyles (B.F.A., fibers, 1997) is married to Stephen Eyles (B.F.A., graphic design, 1998). She wrote, "Stephen and I have recently moved to Wilmington, N.C. He has accepted a job with Blue Tone Media as a Web/graphic designer. I am currently working from home as a full-time employee with Valdese Weavers. We've only been in Wilmington for a short time, but so far love it here! It is great to be near the beach again!"

Timmy Harris (B.F.A., computer art and illustration, 1997) works as a freelance artist in Smyrna, Ga.

Eban Hathaway (B.F.A., video, 1997) is the associate producer for X Games at ESPN, where he is responsible for producing X Games-related programming as well as features during the games and qualifiers. Hathaway lives in Hartford, Conn.

Lelania "Lanie" (Hatten) Moxley (B.F.A., historic preservation, 1997) lives in Savannah, Ga., with her husband, Landon, and their children, Hunter (December 2000), Baylin (May 2003) and Drake (September 2005). She wrote, "In 2001 I did a show in Germany where my work was displayed in an art center for four weeks. I have also been doing freelance illustration, producing prints of historic buildings and military vehicles."

Polly Heininger (B.F.A., graphic design and illustration, 1997) is a graphic designer with Custom Learning Designs, a company that develops educational materials for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Heininger lives in Charlotte, Vt., with her husband, Eric.

Wing Ho (B.F.A., video, 1997) lives in Singapore and is an assistant producer at Caldecott Productions International, a full production house. He has been working on TV commercials and corporate videos and documentaries.

Rachel Hogan (M.F.A., illustration, 1997) wrote, "I'm currently living in a lovely Massachusetts with my little guy, Quincy. Jon Holloway (M.F.A., photography, 1997), who has won several prestigious awards for his work in photography, will be teaching a beginning photography course at Piedmont College in South Carolina. Holloway makes his home in South Carolina and, in addition to teaching, he recently held a show at the Anderson Arts Center called "500 Years: Native America."

Kris (Holzbach) Honeycutt (M.F.A., art history, 1997) is sales and marketing manager for a land developer in Charlotte, N.C. Honeycutt lives in Fort Mills, S.C., with her husband, Matt, and their son, Ben (November 2002).

Scott Hooten (M.A., graphic design, 1997) lives in Erie, Colo. with his wife, Corey. He is the creative director and co-owner of Imulus Design + Interactive (www.imulus.com), a full-service agency that specializes in advanced Web sites and integrated marketing for tech companies. Hooten is responsible for everything from Web site interface design, to print design, to Flash development, and also participates in client and sales meetings. However, he wrote "Most importantly, I take out the trash and buy bagels for the office on Mondays." Imulus has been ranked at the 11th fastest growing private company in the Denver Metro area and was recently honored for their work on the Oolong Tees Web site (www.oolongtees.com), which was selected as the site of the week on the Design Interact section of the Communication Arts Network (www.commarts.com).

Nancy (Hoyt) Miller (B.F.A., illustration, 1997) was accepted into the Society of Los Angeles Illustrators West 43 competition. She also exhibited in the Illustration West 43 show exhibit at the Fröden Gallery in Los Angeles, Calif.

Barbara Huber (B.F.A., graphic design, 1997) lives in Kisco, N.Y., and is an art director with J. Brown/LMC Group, a marketing/advertising agency specializing in print media, radio and television commercials. Huber develops advertising materials and campaigns for clients such as Kraft, Nabisco, Tropicana and Campbell's soup company.

Gwin Hunt (B.F.A., photography, 1997) is the head photographer for Theriault's-Annapolis, Md., the only antique doll auction house in the world. Hunt works with SCAD grads David Hirner (B.F.A., graphic design, 1993), who is the art director, and Holly RichardsonHirner (B.F.A., historic preservation, 1993), who is the curator. The Hirners both live in Annapolis.

Antoine Iskandar (M.Arch., 1997) opened his own firm in Bluffton, S.C.: Arkiteknic Inc. Iskandar is currently designing and building several homes in the Bluffton area.

Eli Ivory (B.F.A., sequential art, 1997) is a computer technician with The Computer Shoppe. He lives in Metairie, La, with his wife, Colleen, and their daughter, Hannah (November 2000). Ivory wrote, "Where I work everyone knows I went to SCAD. I've met some recent graduates and share stories and learn how the city is developing. I always recommend the school to young kids here. I also do freelance art on the side. I have created people as comic book characters, done airbrushed backdrops for beauty pageants and CD covers for bands."

Lance Jackson (B.F.A., interior design, 1997) wrote ,"After recently divorcing from being married for 13 years and having a wonderful 4 year old son with my former wife, Bonnie, I am living in the Vinnigs Smyrna area and am happier than ever. Bonnie and I are jointly raising our son, Thomas. Thomas is the joy that keeps me happy and going along with family, good friends, and my career. Josh Jansen (B.F.A., video, 1997) lives in Atlanta, Ga., and is a technical director for CNN International.

Elisabeth (Jenkins) Baty (M.A., historic preservation, 1997) is an archivist for the University of Virginia's historical drawings collection. Baty lives in Charlottesville, Va., with her husband, Jamison. She wrote, "In August 2001 my husband and I will be moving to Genoa, Italy, for six months. We will study architecture and travel throughout Italy.  We will then move to Clemson, S.C., where Jamie will be attending the graduate school of architecture."

Todd Johnson (B.F.A., photography, 1997) lives in South Euclid, Ohio, with his wife, Debbie, and their daughters, Amy (March 2004) and Molly (July 2001). Johnson is digital imaging manager for Design Photography Inc., a commercial photography studio whose clients include Philips Medical, MTD Lawn Products and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

America Jones (B.F.A., fiber arts, 1997) lives in Fairhope, Ala., and is self-employed as a designer and manufacturer of home accessories. Jones owns a multi-purpose arts facility.

Damon Jones (M.Arch., 1997) lives in Philadelphia, Pa., and is the food facilities design project specialist for ARAMARK Corporation. Jones is responsible for CADD, imaging and animation production and was involved in the design of the food service areas for the participants in the 2000 Sydney Olympic games.

Chris Jordan (B.F.A., computer art, 1997) lives in Denver, Colo., and is a graphic designer/animator for FOX Sports Net Rocky Mountain. 

Deborah Jutz (B.F.A., photography, 1997) is engaged to Donald Jason Marcil, The couple will marry in 2009. Deborah is a freelance editorial and fashion photographer based out of San Francisco, Calif. Donald is the production manager for Quad Graphics' San Francisco site.

Tevia "Tev" Kaber (B.F.A., computer art, 1997) is a Web developer for Staples.com in Framingham, Mass. Kaber works on the Staples.com Web site and other related projects such as the new Staples in-store kiosks.

Mittheera Kalyanamitra (M.F.A., computer art, 1997) is a lecturer at Silpakorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. She teaches Computer for Designing and graphic design classes.

Peter Karpick (B.F.A., illustration, 1997) is an art director with IQ Interactive. He wrote, "After living in Rhode Island for 10 years, we moved back down South to be closer to family. My wife, Alicia, and 4-year-old son, Ethan (April 2002), recently welcomed a new addition to our family, Kai John Karpick (January 2006).".

Kenneth Knowles (B.F.A., painting, 1997) lives in Athens, Ga., and is currently enrolled in the graduate painting program at the University of Georgia.

Robby Knox (B.F.A., historic preservation, 1997) earned his M.B.A. from Georgia Southern and is now the director of computer services at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Kelly Kozemchak (B.F.A., graphic design, 1997) lives in Douglasville, Ga., with her husband, Ken. Kozemchak is a realtor with Jenny Pruitt & Associates. Travis Kunce (B.F.A., photography, 1997) died on Dec. 23, 2003 at the age of 28. Kunce was a media technician for Harvard University.

Lisa Kuprijanow (B.F.A., sequential art, 1997) lives in Vallejo, Calif., with her husband, Joseph Hamdorf (B.F.A., computer art, 1997), and their son, Wayne (May 2003). Kuprijanow is a 2-D freelance animator.

Brian Langle (B.F.A., computer art, 1997) is a production assistant for HBO; he also does computer art freelance for various other companies.

Adam Miller (B.F.A., illustration, 1997) is an illustrator with Logotel, a company that he describes as "creating ultrahigh-end art for screen printed apparel." Lisa Miller (B.F.A., photography, 1997) was one of two young artists selected to exhibit her work, "Photographing the Myth," at the Tulsa Artists' Coalition during the month of January. 

Sean Miller (B.F.A., computer art, 1997) is an animator at OddWorld Inhabitants. The company is working on a series of games for the PC and PlayStation, including a recent release, "Abe's Oddessee." As an art wrangler, Miller's position involves coordinating the artists and programmers to get the artwork completed and into the game. 

Venessa (Miller) Sylvester (B.F.A., illustration, 1991; M.A., art history, 1997) lives in Auburn, Ga., with her husband, Olie P. Sylvester III (B.F.A., graphic design, 1999), and their children, Brody (October 2002) and Zane (February 2005). Venessa Sylvester is senior designer for Primerica Printing, a company that provides printing and design to companies that are members of Citigroup.

Kwangsik Min (B.F.A., graphic design, 1997) works as a graphic designer at Aropostale/Chelsea Cambell. Min works in its in-house graphics department and mostly deals with promotional productions and package design. The biggest project to date has been a 30-second commercial.

Hazem Nowais (M.Arch., 1997) works for Adma-Oplo, one of the largest oil companies in the Middle East. Nowais is the senior architect for the public works department.

Paula O'Callaghan (M.F.A., interior design, 1997) wrote,"We have moved to a new condo. Hirsch Bedner Associates is very busy now and I am working on eight projects simultaneously. I just finished new mock-up room for Four Seasons Singapore and the renovation of their bar/alfresco dining. Another wonderful project is the full renovation and repositioning of the old Cathay Hotel in Shanghai, now known as The Peace Hotel. This is a classic, Art Deco hotel originally conceived by Victor Sassoon and designed by Palmer & Turner architects in 1927. It is located centrally on the Bund and once characterized the Shanghai skyline for decades before Pudong was developed. At it prime in the 1930's, the Cathay Hotel was considered the "Pearl of the Orient" amongst all the hotels, attracting many famous celebrities and heads of state. HBA is the lead consultant in fully renovating the guestroom tower and preserving original deco elements in the public areas.  This property was formerly operated by a state-owned operator but will be repositioned as a Fairmont "Gold" Hotel. Because of the inclusion of historic preservation courses in my graduate studies at SCAD, I now have the wonderful opportunity to be a key team player in this truly exciting and complex project. Laurence Rothman (B.F.A., fashion, 1997) lives in Lewis Center, Ohio, with his wife, Tracy. Following graduation he earned his M.B.A. in general management from Dowling College, NS IA and is now vice president of e-mail marketing for Chase Bank.
