When the Atlanta College of Art merged with the Savannah College of Art and Design on June 5, 2006, SCAD was given guardianship of ACA's academic records. SCAD staff and administrators are committed to providing transcripts for former ACA students and ACA alumni.

SCAD is typically able to respond to transcript requests within 24 hours.

Ordering a Transcript

All transcript requests are handled through the SCAD-Atlanta registrar's office.
  • Transcript requests must be submitted by the ACA alumnus/alumna named in the transcript only.
  • Transcripts may be requested from the registrar, by fax at 404.253.3254 or by mail at the address listed below.
  • Transcript requests cost $10 per copy.
  • Transcript requests for the purpose of applying for additional or continuing education at SCAD are free.

Payment may be made by the following methods:
  • By fax or e-mail. Indicate a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card number with an expiration date. SCAD does not accept American Express.
  • By mail. Either indicate a credit card number with an expiration date, or include a money order payable to Savannah College of Art and Design. Money orders are available at local post offices and banks.

The SCAD registrar’s office does not accept personal checks. Submitting a personal check will delay the processing of a student’s transcript.

The following information is required for each request:
  • Student’s name as it is/was while enrolled at ACA
  • Years the student attended ACA and date of graduation
  • Social Security number or student ID number
  • Contact name and address for destination of transcript
  • Telephone number where the student may be reached
  • Number of copies needed

Follow these guidelines to assist in the processing of the transcript request. Normal processing time is two business days. This processing time may be extended during high volume request periods.
