Payment may be made to the Savannah College of Art and Design by check or money order, cash, credit card or wire transfer. Credit card payments may be phoned in to the admission department at 800.869.7223 or 912.525.5100. Matriculation fees may be paid online.
All fees are to be paid on time, including those paid by third parties (trust funds, government agencies, scholarship programs, etc.). Students accepted after due dates should pay all fees past due at the time of acceptance.
Matriculation fee and all residence hall fees are non-refundable and nontransferable to other charges or students.

* Matriculation Fee for New Students: All degree degree-seeking students pay a one-time nonrefundable matriculation fee in the amount of $500. Invoice for the matriculation fee, including due date, is sent by the admission department. Checks should be made payable to the Savannah College of Art and Design and mailed to the bursar’s office.
** Housing Entering students must pay the non-refundable housing reservation fee of $250 prior to signing up for college housing. Students are assigned fall quarter housing based on the date the reservation fee is paid, provided the quarterly housing balance is paid by Aug. 1 and the housing license agreement has been submitted. Payments should be marked "housing fee" and should include the student's name and SCAD ID number to ensure proper credit. Housing Assignments for fall entering students are made in the summer. Once assignments are made, students are notified by postal mail and by e-mail. At that time, assignments are roommate information are also available in , the college's intranet.
*** Meal Plan: Students residing in Dyson, Oglethorpe, Spring, Turner, Turner Annex and Weston houses are required to participate in a full-residential meal plan. For information about meal plans, click here.
Tuition fees noted do not reflect scholarships or other financial aid. Tuition is paid quarterly and is invoiced by the bursar.

The traditional academic year extends from fall through spring, encompassing three quarters and nine courses. Many students take advantage of optional summer programs including international and domestic off-campus programs, as well as summer classes.
Tuition due dates are as follows: fall quarter, Sept. 1; winter quarter, Dec. 1; spring quarter, March 1; summer quarter, June 1. For information about how scholarships or other financial aid may affect your tuition payment, contact the admission office.
