DANTES/DSST Credit

Within the Department of Defense, voluntary education programs are offered through DANTES, Defense Activity for Nontraditional Education Support. SCAD gives consideration to DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST) scores. Credit is awarded for DSST if certain requirements are met. Credit awarded by another college or university for DSST is not transferable without proper documentation. Official DSST score results must be submitted to the office of admission. A maximum of 45 quarter hours of DSST credit may be awarded. Transfer credit from all sources (including DSST) may not exceed 90 quarter hours.

Please note that some exams have been revised in 2008 as indicated with bold type.
