Rising Star
A pre-college program for rising high school seniors
This challenging five-week residential program awards college credit to rising high school seniors who are ready for a summer college experience. Students enroll in two college-level classes and have the opportunity to build or enhance their visual arts portfolios.
Applications are no longer being accepted for Rising Star 2008.

SCAD Summer Seminars
An adventure in the arts for talented teens
Residential or nonresidential summer workshops in art and design for high school students who have completed their freshman, sophomore or junior years.
The application deadline has passed. Any applications postmarked after May 1 are not guaranteed to be reviewed; however, if space permits, we will continue reviewing them on a first-come, first-served basis.

Programs for Educators
Art Educators' Forum
Through one week in residence at SCAD-Atlanta or SCAD-Savannah, educators recharge their creativity and exchange ideas. Program includes five workshops, a juried exhibition of participants' work, local museum/gallery tours and field trips, plus the art educators' lesson plan swap.

Advanced Placement Summer Institutes
Advanced Placement Institutes are conducted for high school teachers of AP courses at regional sites authorized by the College Board. Offered in Summer 2008 at SCAD-Atlanta.
