Enrollment for nondegree-seeking students is on a space-available basis for individuals who, while not wishing to pursue a degree, would like to enroll in college courses.

Nondegree-seeking applicants must submit an application for admission, a résumé, and a nonrefundable $25 application fee if submitted online; $50 application fee if submitted in paper form;. Applicants denied admission to the Savannah College of Art and Design as degree-seeking students may or may not be eligible for enrollment as nondegree-seeking students.

Performance in courses taken as a nondegree-seeking student does not automatically qualify an applicant for admission as a degree-seeking student. Nondegree-seeking students who wish to become degree seeking must reapply to the college (application fee is required) and fulfill the application requirements in effect for degree-seeking students.

Nondegree-seeking students are not eligible for financial aid or scholarships, but they may reside in college housing on a space-available basis. I-20s cannot be issued to international students who are nondegree seeking.

Nondegree-seeking students are not required to submit a matriculation fee. The administrative unit responsible for nondegree-seeking admission decisions is the Admission Review Committee.
