Atlanta Orientation

Welcome

Welcome to SCAD Atlanta. I am very pleased that you have chosen SCAD in Atlanta as the place to further your education. As the dean of student services, my role is to provide support services for you during your time at the university and assist in facilitating a positive learning environment. The student services staff provides students with social, personal, ethical and intellectual programs. Our services, programs and activities are offered with the goal of partnering with academic services to contribute to student success in a variety of areas.
OrientationOrientation

During orientation, you will be introduced to fellow students and SCAD administrators who will familiarize you with the many aspects of university life and provide information to assist you in addressing the challenges associated with the college experience. Most importantly, you will be shown how to get the most out of your SCAD experience. This orientation program is designed to be interactive, and I encourage you to participate fully in all aspects of it so that you will be ready to embrace the opportunities the college has to offer. For incoming first-year students, orientation will continue throughout your first quarter in the First-year Experience course. If you have any questions or need information prior to orientation, don't hesitate to call 404.253.3400 or e-mail Atlanta orientation. I look forward to seeing you very soon.

Best wishes for a successful and creative journey of self-development and discovery.
