Army ROTC Scholarships
Army ROTC offers scholarships to students who wish to participate in the U.S. Army Reserve Officer Training Corps to earn a commission in the U.S. Army while pursuing a degree at SCAD. Two-, three- and four-year scholarships are available for up to full tuition, room and board, and may be applied to undergraduate or graduate study. Scholarships also include a $1,200 yearly book allowance and a monthly stipend for all contracted students (ranging from $300 to $500). Students may be required to cross enroll at other participating colleges to take ROTC courses while attending SCAD. More information about ROTC scholarship qualifications is available by calling the SCAD admission office in Savannah (800.869.7223 or 912.525.5100) or Atlanta (877.722.3285 or 404.253.2700).

Athletics Grants-in-Aid
Athletics grants-in-aid may be awarded to undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding athletic ability and individual merit. Criteria include high school academic record, standardized test scores, recommendations, achievements, leadership in extracurricular activities, and other documentation of ability to contribute to and benefit from the educational experience at SCAD.

Horatio Alger Scholar Award
A matching scholarship is awarded to each Horatio Alger Scholar who is accepted and enrolls at SCAD. Horatio Alger Scholars also may be eligible for other financial aid, grants, loans or scholarships. The award is renewable for up to four years (or up to 225 attempted hours), provided the recipient remains enrolled and maintains at least a 3.0 grade point average.

State Incentive Program Scholarships
SCAD is approved to award the HOPE Scholarship to qualified Georgia applicants, as well as the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant and the Georgia Governor's Scholarship. SCAD may offer consideration to non-Georgia students who are eligible for other states' incentive program scholarships. Students who qualify for any state incentive program should notify the admission department.
