The Savannah College of Art and Design is pleased to offer a tuition prepayment plan through the Sallie Mae Tuition Pay Plan.
The Sallie Mae Tuition Pay Plan allows students to prepay certain fees on a monthly basis throughout the year, out of their current income or savings. That means no interest charges and no long-term debt. Students may use the Sallie Mae Tuition Pay Plan to pay for the total tuition and meal plan charges (residence hall fees cannot be budgeted through Sallie Mae), the balance after financial aid, or in combination with loans. However, the more that is paid now, the less that will need to be paid over the long term. Matriculation fees cannot be included in the plan; they are due before the contract period begins. Tuition Protection Coverage is included in the plan at no additional cost. Subject to the terms of the Sallie Mae Tuition Pay Plan contracts, life insurance covers the remaining balance of tuition should the bill payer die, and unemployment insurance covers the remaining tuition balance should the bill payer become involuntarily unemployed. The Sallie Mae Tuition Pay Plan mails monthly statements that show the student's account history and make it easier to track education expenses.
