Funding your education at SCAD

If you are passionate about preparing for a creative career, we are committed to helping you develop a plan to finance your SCAD education, and ultimately achieve your dreams.

Roughly 90 percent of our students receive some form of financial assistance. You may qualify as well. Approximately US $25 million in institutional scholarships is awarded annually to the entering class. SCAD scholarships range from US $500 per year to full tuition.

We want to make this process as easy to navigate and as transparent as possible. With that in mind, we have developed this booklet to outline the steps and serve as a resource for you. Also included is a list of frequently asked questions, information about the types of aid available and examples of current students' financial profiles.

To take advantage of the greatest opportunity for financial support, start the admission and financial aid process early.

Scholarships

Through the office of admission, SCAD administers a number of scholarships for entering students.

Financial aid

Financial aid is made available to qualified students to assist them in paying for their education at SCAD.

Student accounts

Student accounts include billing and the receipt and recording of payments for tuition and housing.
