Matthew Burdette (B.F.A., visual effects, 2008) landed an internship with LucasArts, the video game division of LucasFilm in San Francisco. He will be an environmental artist on a new "Indiana Jones" game to be released for Microsoft Xbox and Sony Playstation.

Emma E. McDuffie (B.F.A., interior design, 2008) is working as an interior designer at LS3P Associates Ltd., a multidisciplinary firm offering architectural, interior architectural and planning services to clients throughout the Southeast. She is currently working on a federal project bid for the U.S. Army.

Interior design junior Jackie Livelli and professor Sam Cribbs were featured in the May/June issue of boutique DESIGN magazine. Livelli was the first of three students featured in the "designer in the making" status. The article showcases renderings of her Billabong store project.

MTV selected Reinaldo Ortiz (M.A., animation, 2008) to be part of its new show "Engine Room." The show features various teams creating animations, Web sites, short films, sound design, all competing for the chance to win $400,000 cash and HP gear.

Sarah Harrington (M.A., fibers, 2008) is a fabric design specialist at ForrestPerkins in Dallas where she designs textiles for high-end luxury hotels.
