- About SCAD
Arnold Hall, the 88,000-square-foot LEED Gold -certified building, is a central hub for SCAD, housing art history, cinema studies, arts administration, writing and general education classes.
Each of the 37 classrooms has an audio-visual system for digital display of lesson materials, there are two PC computer labs for instruction and independent study, a quiet reading room, and a 607-seat auditorium for lectures and theatrical productions.
This revitalized 88,000-square-foot building became the first LEED Gold-certified building at SCAD.
Four computer labs with HP PCs, Adobe Creative Suite, wall-mounted displays and speaker systems are available to students.
More than 600 people can comfortably sit in the Arnold Hall auditorium to listen to lectures by professors or guests, or watch plays.
The theater is equipped with state-of-the-art projection and sound equipment to give any presentation or production perfect clarity for the audience.
