Frequently asked questions
Does SCAD provide housing or accommodations for Teen Summer Workshops?
SCAD Hong Kong does not provide housing or accommodations for Teen Summer Workshop participants. Students participating from outside of Hong Kong may inquire with SCAD Hong Kong staff regarding suggested accommodations.
What if there is inclement weather?
Workshops may be cancelled or rescheduled if a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued. Students and parents/guardians will be notified of schedule changes via the email addresses provided.
What prior experience do I need to have?
Most workshops do not require prior experience, so register now to tap into your creative spirit and uncover or enhance your own artistic talent.
Do parents need to attend the workshops?
No. Program participants should have the completed release forms signed by their parent/guardian and bring it with them for check-in.
If the workshop is full, is there a waiting list?
A waiting list is established when all spaces in a summer workshop are filled. If the preferred workshop is full, the student may request to be put on a waiting list. If a space becomes available at least two weeks prior to the start of the program, the student is notified. If the student chooses to accept an available spot, the program fee is due immediately.
