Jackson's work has been shown extensively throughout the United States and abroad at sites such as the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; the International Center of Photography, New York, New York; and the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Georgia; among many others. His collections have been shown at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, California; the Institute of American Indian Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico; and the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, Illinois. In 2004, Jackson became the first Native American photographer to be represented in the collection of the National Library of Congress.
