"I love to teach. After 28 years of teaching at SCAD, I am still excited when I get up in the morning to go to work. When I was offered a job to start a photography program at a college in Savannah, Georgia, that was in its third year of operation with 120 students and 10 faculty, I jumped at the chance. This was in 1982. Twenty-eight years later I am the longest-term faculty member at SCAD, the 'university for creative careers,' with more than 10,000 students and 700 faculty members. We did something right."
