  • M.F.A., Kent State University
First year at SCAD:

"My eldest son is a gifted artist. As a parent and artist, I closely followed his growth and accomplishments while at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. I was impressed with how his CCAD faculty shaped his life and character as they nurtured his talent and skills.

"This observation led me to my teaching philosophy. The students in my classes are the children of parents like me. I understand that they have entrusted me with the care of their young men and women and depend on me to prepare them for a successful career in their field of interest. I embrace this responsibility and take this approach with every student."

"To annually see my paintings hanging in the gallery walls of the Cleveland Museum of Art during the prestigious May Shows."
