"I was taught by very inspirational people who were not working in the teaching profession but came from living the life of creative artists and designers. They wanted to pass on to others through their products the wonder, magic and exploration of ideas and quality of life; they opened conceptual doors that would otherwise have remained closed to me. I feel I would have been a lesser person if I had not had this contact. As a designer and artist I strive to keep the ethos of invention, innovation and exploration. As a professor I want to open those thought processes and inner doors for others, to show them a path to their fulfillment in some positive way, through looking and experiencing the world as artists or designers."
