  • M.F.A., painting, Savannah College of Art and Design, 2011
First year at SCAD:

"Teaching, for me, is a mutually beneficial process. I find the one-on-one work with students especially satisfying, since I'm able to help them focus their intentions and better understand my methods, too. Learning is a constant state of flux, of figuring out what works and what doesn't. For each student, that's different, and helping each of them 'figure it out' is a challenge I look forward to meeting."

Provided illustrations for more than 100 publications internationally, illustrated three children's books published by Philomel Books and illustrated a 200-page graphic novel published by One Peace Books.
