Awards and Recognition
"Requiem for a Dream," an exhibition by photography M.F.A. candidate Alison Behr, will take place at TruSpace Gallery, 2423 Desoto Avenue, Savannah, Ga., Nov. 14-20. There will be an artist talk, Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m., and an opening reception on the same day, 7-10 p.m. Behr explores the familiar paradoxes in our country's expectations as defined by the American Dream. This photographic series aims to remind us that promises of prosperity and freedom are often tempered by the realities of decline and limitation. Free and open to the public.
